The rooms are traditionally furnished, but with modern touches. The wrought iron queen beds were custom made in Richmond. The house is centrally air conditioned, boasts high speed internet, and has a formal living room with fireplace or a cozy family room with gas fireplace to curl up next to in the cooler months.
The Master Suite
The Suite is the largest of our rooms. It features an iron queen bed, by Brass Beds of Virginia and other antiques of the period. There are second story views of the front and rear gardens. It includes private bath, double sinks and a large dressing area. There is a single bed off of the dressing area for a third guest (modest charge) that provides additional privacy for all. Rate is $150 per night, single or double occupancy. Call for specials, off-season rates and packages.
The Front Room
This room is also large, but with somewhat more serene decor. It features a queen sleigh bed, also from Brass Beds of Virginia, large closets and views to the front of the grounds. It shares a bath across the hall with the Garden Room. Rate is $115 per night, single or double occupancy. Call for specials, off-season rates and packages.
The Garden Room
The Garden Room has second floor views of the pool and the numerous plantings in the fully fenced rear yard. It shares an adjacent spacious bathroom. Furnishings include an antique double bed and dresser with large closet space. Rate is $95 per night, single or double occupancy. Call for specials, off-season rates and packages.
